Our office has a lengthy history serving its community for the City of Kitchener as the #2 Fire station from 1965-2000.
The original location was at 318 Duke Street W, where the building still stands today but was a firehall from 1913-1965. It is currently the offices of Dozr, a Tech Company serving the North American market.
The current location of the New #2 fire station is 187 Lancaster Street West, Kitchener. The need to build larger doors for the new pumper trucks was required and initiated the move from Guelph Street to corner of Guelph and Lancaster Streets. This new location opened in 2000.
We are very proud of the history knowing that the Kitchener Fire Department kept people in their homes for 35 years. We continue using this building to assist our residents buy their homes and operated from here since 2001. We have done lots to update the fire hall to our mortgage offices. Centrally located between Kitchener and Waterloo, we find this location easily accessible from the highway and both downtowns.
